Datos inéditos de cronistas occidentales sobre la revolución argelina

Unpublished data from Western chroniclers on the Algerian revolution

Abstract

In our investigation, we try to highlight some surrounding the Algerian revolution through pure acknowledgements of the Cuban Lisandro Otero and the Americans Peter Trockmorton and Herb Greer as correspondents, as well as Raúl Roa García, as Minister of Internal affairs of Cuba.In the same context, we have to clarify that the Casbah, the massacres, the National Liberation Front (NLF), the martyrs Yacef Saadi, and Zohra Drif, like others, constitute the essential of our investigation.In the same theme, we have to clarify that it was not easy for us to recover and obtain the testimonies that we develop in our study, since they are original statements taken from the magazine BOHEMIA published in Cuba between 1956 and 1959. In this sense, we explain to our readers that the statements studied in this work, would be hard for us to understand considering their antiquity.

En la investigación en cuestión, intentamos poner de relieve algunos datos inéditos que giran alrededor de la revolución argelina a través de puros reconocimientos de los corresponsales: el cubano Lisandro Otero y los norteamericanos Peter Trockmorton y Herb Greer, además del ministro cubano de asuntos internos Raúl Roa García.En el mismo contexto, hemos de subrayar que; El Casbah, las matanzas, el Frente de Liberación Nacional( FLN), los mártires Yacef Saadi, y Zohra Drif igual que otros constituyen el núcleo de nuestra tarea investigadora.En el mismo sentido, hemos de esclarecer que no nos era fácil recuperar y conseguir los testimonios que vamos a desarrollar en nuestro estudio, ya que se trata de declaraciones originales sacadas de la revista BOHEMIA publicada en Cuba entre 1956 y 1959. Resulta explicar a nuestros lectores que las declaraciones estudiadas en este trabajo, nos costarían mucho entenderlas vista su antigüedad.
