Abstract

The novel is one of the most important literary arts that reflect the realities and course of society. It depicts its manifestations in a narrative form in a language that is either real or imaginary; Especially the manifestations of violence, so that no one is aware of the injustice, marginalization and suffering experienced by Arab society and Arab women; This made the writer and critic Zainab Lout try to describe this phenomenon that troubled and exhausted women in her novel "Rock of Ash".

For this purpose, this research paper aims to shed light on the dystopian vision in the contemporary Arab novel, and to identify the features of suffering in the novel "Rock of Ash” by Zainab Lout, where she talked about multiple sufferings “migration, work, disease....” She was in the foreground. The suffering of Sisyphus.

تعدّ الرواية أحد أهمّ الفنون الأدبية التي تعكس وقائع المجتمع ومجرياته؛ إذ تقوم بتصوير مظاهره في قالب سردي بلغة تكون إمّا واقعية أو خيالية؛ وبخاصة مظاهر التعنيف، بحيث لا يخفى على أحد مايعيشه المجتمع العربي والمرأة العربية خصوصا من ظلم وتهميش ومعاناة؛ مما جعل الكاتبة والناقدة زينب لوت تحاول وصف هذه الظاهرة التي أرّقت المرأة وأرهقتها في روايتها "صخرة الرماد". ومن أجل ذلك، تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى تسليط الضوء على الرؤية الدستوبية في الرواية العربية المعاصرة، وتحديد معالم المعاناة في رواية "صخرة الرماد" لزينب لوت، بحيث تحدّثت عن معاناة متعددة "الهجرة، العمل، المرض...." كانت في مقدّمتها معاناة سيزيف.

وقد حاولت هذه الدراسة الكشف عن المعالم الواقعية للمعاناة التي نقلتها زينب لوت من الخيال إلى الحقيقة، فكانت رؤيتها وتجربتها فريدة.
