Abstract

This article analyzes the postmodern dimension of the novel Amours et aventures de Sindbad le marin by Salim Bachi. The aim is to demonstrate how a critical thinking is manifested with regard to modernity, particularly Western ones, which allows, through an aesthetic of hybridity, a lucid look at the shortcomings of our time by questioning in particular the impact of media and internet on identity and cultural perceptions.

Résumé

Le présent article analyse la dimension postmoderne du roman Amours et aventures de sindbad le marin de Salim Bachi. Il s’agit de démontrer comment se manifeste une pensée critique à l’égard de la modernité, notamment occidentale, qui autorise, à travers une esthétique de l’hybridité, un regard lucide sur les travers de notre époque en interrogeant notamment l’impact des médias et d’internet sur les perceptions identitaires et culturelles.
