In Algeria, the legal deposit system is established by Law No. 98-04 of June 15, 1998. This regulation requires publishers to deposit their works and scientific productions within Algeria’s National Library.

National Library of Algiers: In Algeria, the National Library is in charge of collecting and maintaining deposited books. It is the primary repository for the nation’s cultural legacy, allowing researchers and students to access these items for research and study.
